The Wisemen understood the times more than the chief priests and the scribes. Being religious and even being in the church doesn't mean you will understand what God is doing in the earth today. We are missing what is happening in our day. We are missing the signs of the times. Because we are missing it, we are being shaken. I want to be more like the Wisemen and less like the chief priests and scribes. The scripture says, “Those who sit in darkness…Have seen a great light" (Matt. 4:16). I want to be watching and waiting, being able to be led by the signs of the times. The prophetic word shined for them when the star didn’t. When what was leading them in the natural went dark, that which was supernatural didn’t. When things get dark and our star disappears for a minute, what do we lean on? We lean on the spoken and written word of God. Don't miss this last episode in Steve and Sarah's Christmas devotional series.
